1. Valve body:

- Usually made of materials such as cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel with good corrosion and pressure resistance.  

- There is a rotating shaft and seat inside the valve body, and the valve flap is connected to the rotating shaft by a hinge.

2. Valve flap:

- The valve flap is the core component of the H44H/X swing check valve, which is connected to the rotating shaft by a hinge and is able to open in the forward flow and close in the reverse flow.  

- The closure of the valve flap mainly depends on gravity and the reverse pressure of the fluid.

3. Hinged mechanism:

- The hinged mechanism allows the valve flap to rotate freely about the axis of rotation. The hinge is usually mounted on the top or side of the valve body to ensure flexible movement of the valve flap.

Principle of Operation

- Forward Flow: When fluid in the pipeline flows in the forward direction, the pressure of the fluid pushes the valve flap to rotate around the hinge axis, opening the valve and allowing fluid to pass through.

- Reverse Flow: When fluid tries to flow in the reverse direction, the pressure of the fluid pushes the flap closed and the flap returns to the valve seat, forming a seal and preventing the fluid from flowing backwards.

- When installing the valve, pay attention to the flow direction marking of the valve to ensure that the valve is installed in the correct direction. 

- When installing horizontally, make sure that the hinge of the valve flap is on the horizontal plane; when installing vertically, make sure that the flow direction of the fluid is upward.

2. Maintenance:

- Regularly check the wear and tear of the valve flap and seat, and replace them when necessary.  

- Keep the hinge mechanism clean and lubricated to ensure flexible movement of the valve flap.
