Our company’s rubber-lined wafer-type worm gear butterfly valves are highly regarded in the chemical and water treatment industries, among others, due to their excellent corrosion resistance, superior sealing performance, ease of operation and lightweight design.

The most popular Worm gear wafer-type rubber-lined butterfly valve

The body or disc of a worm gear wafer-type butterfly valve is lined with rubber materials (such as nitrile rubber (NBR), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), fluorocarbon rubber (FKM), etc.). Through a high-temperature vulcanisation process, the raw rubber is transformed from a linear molecular structure into a three-dimensional cross-linked network structure, forming a chemical bond between the rubber and the valve body or disc. The bond strength can reach 588.4 N/cm² or higher, preventing delamination or peeling during use. The vulcanised rubber forms a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant sealing layer, effectively isolating the medium from the metal and extending the service life of the valve.

Worm gear wafer-type rubber-lined butterfly valve

The worm gear wafer-type rubber lined butterfly valves manufactured by our company not only offer excellent corrosion resistance and superior sealing performance, but also reduce the required operating force by 50% to 70% thanks to the worm gear drive, whilst the wafer-type connection reduces weight by 30% to 50%. These characteristics make our worm gear wafer-type lined butterfly valves a popular choice in industries such as chemical processing and water treatment.
