Butterfly valve has the following selection principles：

                                      

一、Because of the butterfly valve compared to the gate valve, ball valve pressure loss is relatively large, so it is adapted to the pressure loss requirements of the pipeline system is not strict.

二、Since butterfly valves can be used for flow adjustment, they are suitable for use in pipelines where flow adjustment is required.

三、Due to the limitations of butterfly valve structure and sealing materials, it is not suitable for high temperature and high pressure piping system. The general operating temperature is below 300℃ and the nominal pressure is below PN40.

四、As the structure of the butterfly valve length is relatively short, and can be made into a large caliber, so in the structure of the short length of the occasions required or large caliber valves (such as  DN＞1000 mm), it is appropriate to use butterfly valves.

五、Because the butterfly valve can be opened or closed by rotating only 90°, it is preferable to use butterfly valve in the occasion of fast opening and closing requirements.
