Metal corrugated compensator is a kind of flexible, thin-walled, horizontal corrugated device with the function of expansion and contraction, composed of metal bellows and components, according to the displacement type of bellows, it can be divided into axial compensator, transverse type compensator, angular type compensator and pressure balance bellows compensator.

The working principle of the bellows compensator is mainly to use its own elastic deformation function to compensate for thermal deformation, mechanical deformation and all kinds of mechanical vibration caused by axial, angular, lateral and its combination of displacement. The compensator has the functions of pressure resistance, sealing, corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, impact resistance, vibration damping, noise reduction, etc., which can reduce pipeline deformation and improve pipeline service life.

Metal corrugated compensator is generally used for pipelines with large deformation and deformation and limited space location; large diameter pipelines with large deformation and displacement and low working pressure need to limit the equipment of the receiver load; pipelines needing to absorb or isolate high-frequency mechanical vibration; pipelines needing to absorb seismic or foundation settlement pipelines or absorbing vibration at the outlet of pipeline pumps. In these cases, there is a certain risk of damage to the pipeline during operation, and the metal corrugated compensator can rely on the expansion and bending of the bellows to compensate for the axial, lateral and angular direction of the pipeline, so as to ensure the operation of the pipeline.
