Electric butterfly valve installation steps

一、The electric butterfly valve before the installation of preparation

Note:

1, The valve should be installed in time after unpacking, please do not loosen any fastening screws or nuts on the valve;.

2, Electric butterfly valve can be installed in any angle of the pipeline, for the convenience of maintenance is recommended not to be installed upside down.

3, Butterfly valve flange in the installation must ensure that the flange surface and sealing rubber centering, screws evenly tightened, the sealing surface must fit intact; if there is a screw tightening strength is not uniform there will be a rubber bump stuck butterfly plate, or the top of the butterfly plate caused by the leakage of the stem at the valve.

二、Electric butterfly valve installation steps

1, the valve will be placed in the pre-installed between the two flanges (flange butterfly valves need to be pre-gasket position at both ends);.

2, According to the diagram will be both ends of the bolt nut were gently inserted into both ends of the corresponding flange hole (flange butterfly valve need to adjust the position of the gasket), the nut will be slightly tightened to correct the flange surface flatness.

3. Fix the flange on the pipe by spot welding.

4. Remove the valve.

5, the flange will be completely welded and fixed on the pipeline;

6, To be welded mouth cooling and then install the valve to ensure that the valve in the flange has enough space to prevent the valve from being damaged, and to ensure that the butterfly plate has a certain degree of openness (flange butterfly valves need to be added gaskets); calibrate the valve position and tighten all the bolts (pay attention to not over-tighten); open the valve to ensure that the valve plate can be free to open and close, and then make the valve plate to open slightly.

7. Tighten all nuts in a cross-equalized manner.

8, Again to confirm that the valve can open and close freely, note: confirm that the butterfly plate does not touch the pipeline.

Note: electric butterfly valve factory has been the opening and closing stroke of the control mechanism to adjust, in order to prevent the direction of the power supply is wrong, the user in the power supply before, to manually open to half (50%) of the position, and then press the electric switch, check the switch, check the direction of the indication plate valve opening direction can be.
