 What is rubber lined pipes

   Rubber lining is a kind of pipeline with external steel structure as its framework. It uses anti-corrosion, wear-resisting and high temperature resistant rubber as its lining layer. the physical and chemical properties of rubber reduced the effect of pipeline transmission medium on external structure, such as impact force and corrosion. the cushioning effect of rubber prolong the life and reduces the cost. The flexibility of rubber solved the corrosion problem of the pipe, make a protection for the pipeline.
   Corrosive particles impact the surface of rubber lining, rubber deforms under pressure, and most kinetic energy is returned to the particles, thereby avoiding wear.


Service factor

   Rubber properties: Rubber lining depends on the environment in which it is used. If the physical and chemical properties of the rubber are not in conformity with the environment, the service life will be greatly reduced and the rubber layer will fall off.
    Bonding strength between rubber and steel pipe: The bonding strength between rubber and steel pipe directly affects the service life of the pipe. The low bonding strength causes the rubber layer to fall off, and the steel skeleton does not play the role of anti-corrosion and wear resistance.
Working conditions: The location, corrosion, temperature and strength of the steel-rubber composite pipe will affect the service life of the steel-rubber composite pipe. Therefore, a reasonable analysis should be made at the beginning of the selection of the steel-rubber composite pipe.
